Hey, my name is Ramnik Kaur.

In Punjabi ‘ramnik’ means peaceful, and is usually used to describe a place. My mum jokes that I took my name too literally and that’s why I spend so much of my life exploring and in nature.‘Kaur’ holds my Sikh identity meaning princess or warrior. I am deeply indebted to the brave women that came before me.

I have always had a hard time answering the question: who are you? Like you, I am a multifaceted being with many aspects of myself intertwined. On a journey of self growth, I am a lifelong student and I enjoy documenting this adventure of life (en route).

I am a photographer, storyteller, environmental steward, anthropologist, law student, and an adventurer. I hope my work inspires other women to get outside, take up space, and live life with curiosity.
